Subject: Well another week has passed and we are very close to the halfway mark
February 12, 2007
Well another week has passed and we are very close to the halfway mark (March 4th is our 6th month mark in Iraq already)........
All is well on this end and Gabe and I have been extremely busy the past 3 weeks.........
The other night we were on a 14 hour mission that really stunk, but Gabe was a champ and did very well.........
This really made me think as I looked at these 3 pics of Gabe and I today out on an 9 hour mission taking a brea in between searching....
3 of the pictures above of Gabe drinking water was on that mission along with the one of him sleeping in between sweeps of villages looking for explosives..........The other ones are of a motorcycle in Iraq, yeah I couldn't believe it either when it rolled up to our checkpoint..........
The other one is of a cemetary here, they are very different then the ones we will get buried in...........
I once again am very behind in my school projects of writing to the kiddies so if you class wrote to me, please be patient as I try to do 6 to 10 letters a night, but I will get there, I promise........
Other than that, please keep all soldiers and dogs in your n ightly prayers and don't listen to everything the television is telling you because I am telling you first hand, it's bad here, but not how the media portrays it to be, but always remember, that is why we live in a free country to be able to do and say what we want so I respect everyone's opinions........
Have a blessed week and please keep in touch, I still have comic books so if you want some, just let me know and give me an address and they will be sent out the next day that I can get to the post office.......
Gabe also says woof woof (especially to his girlfriend Chandi)!!!
